The CUHK Graduate School will record the visits to our website by using cookies and page tagging without collecting any personally identifiable information of users.

The information collected in the application and registration stages will be used for the following purposes:

1. As a basis for selecting applicants for admission to postgraduate programmes offered by the University and the related purposes;
2. For verifying information regarding the applicant’s public examination results and academic records;
3. For verifying records of previous studies;
4. For using as the applicant’s student record upon registration for a programme, which will be used for all purposes relating to his/her studies according to the procedures of the University;
5. For identifying multiple enrolments at this University or any other tertiary institution upon registration for a programme.
6. For transferring to other units within the University to facilitate communication regarding admission verifications, operations and planning; and
7. For statistical and research purposes, personal identifiers will be removed.
